CIAIE 2026 Concludes Successfully | PURE® Talks the Future of Automotive Interiors with Sustainable Materials
From August 12 to 14, the 21st Shanghai International Automotive Interior & Exterior Exhibition and Smart Cockpit-Driving Integration Tech Expo (CIAIE 2026) opened grandly at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.ChangfengNew Materials brought its complete line of all-water-based eco-friendly synthetic leather to Booth 1A1006. Centered on the core advantages of “zero solvent, lightweight, ultra-durable, and fully traceable low-carbon supply”, it became the visitor favorite in this year’s eco-materials zone for automotive interior and exterior applications.
During the three-day show, purchasing and engineering teams from leading OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers at home and abroad kept the booth constantly busy.Visitors were seen kneading the samples to test softness and rebound, inspecting surface grain and coating uniformity, and gathering around the spec boards to benchmark abrasion, weathering and other key indicators — the conversations were lively yet deeply professional. Several customers expressed intent on the spot and scheduled follow-up business meetings.

The all-water-based eco-friendly synthetic leather Changfeng showcased is built on a full water-based production process that entirely eliminates organic solvents,achieving zero-solvent emission right at the source — keeping cabin air pristine with low VOC and no off-gassing odor. On lightweighting, it is 40% lighter than PVC and 60% lighter than genuine leather, effectively supporting lower whole-vehicle energy consumption. Durability is equally rock-solid — more than 100,000 abrasion cycles, weathering from −40 °C to 80 °C, plus outstanding hydrolysis resistance,providing a solid guarantee of long-term stable quality for the cabin.
